Corporate Support Opportunities
Small Business Membership
Small Businesses and Local Nonprofit Associations or Clubs are invited to become members of the Brooklyn Historical Society at either of the special reduced rates listed below:
Member Benefits (Valid for one year)
Local Patrons ($1,000)
- Free admission to library and museum for employees, with employee ID, and one guest
- Name listed in quarterly newsletter, website and eNews
- Leadership passes for up to ten corporate executives
- Invitations to BHS events and exhibit openings
- Discount on Walks and Talks, lectures, publications and other programs for all employees
Neighborhood Sponsors ($500)
- Free admission to library and museum for employees, with employee ID
- Name listed in quarterly newsletter, website and eNews
- Leadership passes for up to five corporate executives
- Volunteer opportunities for all employees
- Invitations to BHS events and exhibit openings
- Discount on Walks and Talks, lectures, publications and other programs for all employees
The Small Business Act states that a small business is "one that is independently owned and operated and which is not dominant in its field of operation." For profit organizations that do not meet these criteria outlined by the U.S. Small Business Administration (CFR Title 13, Part 121) are encouraged to consider BHS’ Corporate Membership opportunities.
Corporate Memberships are offered at the $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 levels.
