Virtual Program | Ties that Bind: Andrea Bernstein and Jarrett Murphy Discuss American Oligarchs

Is America shaped by democratic will, or by a collection of dynasties?

Andrea Bernstein, the acclaimed investigative journalist behind the podcast WNYC Trump, Inc. and author of American Oligarchs: The Kushners, the Trumps, and the Marriage of Money and Power, traces the rise of the Trump and Kushner families, from immigrant roots, to ruthless real estate empires, to a union of resources and influence that has upended our democracy from the top down. Bernstein is joined by Jarrett Murphy, Executive Editor of City Limits, in this conversation about the intersection of wealth and power.
